Chaos-23

That was not the best NYE I’ve ever had.

It was not the worst either though.

After the pub my evening was spent covered in cats. I miss my kitties soooo much :o( I’m blatantly phoning the local rescue place and asking what they have. 2 ferrets & 2 cats would be sooo good right now. And then the 4 rats… and the giant millipedes and maybe a gecko or 2…. and then maybe a dog….

It’s been a strange old week.

The Sasser Worm hit work very hard. I managed to work a fairly standard day on Tuesday, but Wednesday was 07:50-21:35 with no break and Thursday was 07:50-19:30 with a short break in the morning, but I only got that because I got a call from my Mum, who was in floods of tears. Our cat, Puss, had to be put to sleep. :o( She had kidney & liver problems that hadn’t shown up on her blood tests. She wasn’t well at all. She made it to the grand old age of 18 though. Seems so weird to think we got her when I was 9 years old. Purdey is gone… Puss is gone… I feel so cold, alone, catless for the first time in my life :o(

I’m also blonde. Which is weird for me… it’s not lasting long though, planning on CupCake Pink tomorrow, maybe with some blue and purple thrown in somewhere. I love that blue too much not to keep on using it.

Anyhoo, back to the Sasser Worm, looks like my long hours and hard work have got me noticed at last. The Technical Director of Scorpio Net gave me one of their work-shirts and told me I was now an honorary member of the Scorpio Team. Awwww…. bless :o) Shame I don’t get their pay too…

Well, it looks like the Wedding Invitation never turned up. I imagine that Bex & Crofty are married now… Oh well. It’s James & Cheney’s turn tomorrow. I’ll be glad when it’s over and I get my boyfriend back to be honest. He’s been stuck to James like glue for the past couple of months!

At last! I have my Christmas presents wrapped and ready to go. I’ve had a nice long soak and everything is packed and ready for tomorrow. I have to find some way to amuse myself though as Jon said we can leave at 12:00. I’m not meeting people until about 20:00 though!! Nightmare with the not drinking thing too.

I’m not looking forward to a night out whilst I’m spotty and snivvly, but needs must (another side effect of these damn tablets appears to be a rash as well. Great, so far the list of side-effects is:

going hot and cold;
nausea;
spots;
rash…

If I get the black furry tongue thing…. ick! It just doesn’t bare thinking about).

I keep thinking about Purdey today, I hope he’s happy. I miss him more than ever now. RIP my little FizzGig.

I’m trying not to panic about presents now. I’m scared Cheesey & Shorty might not like theirs. Me & Shortstuff were only talking about tacky presents last week…. oh dear. Finger’s crossed.
