It was an awesome festival this year and even though I didn’t see many full sets I caught performances by countless bands, wandered an awful lot, met some great people and had a fantastic time.
Spotify
Recently there’s been a lot of talk about Spotify. I have to admit it took longer for me to check it out than normal because it was being compared to Pandora, and try as I might I just didn’t along with Pandora. I occasionally used LastFM‘s radio feature, but I own a hell of a [...]
Clutch (Oxford Zodiac on 18/08/08)
I was lucky enough to get to see Clutch play at the Zodiac@Oxford Academy on the 18th. Was also a good excuse to try out my new Flip Ultra video camera. Was a good venue to test it out in as I could get near the front and the sound was superb. If I’d known [...]
Reading Festival 2008
So, another festival is over. Not a great one this year in all fairness. . Went to exchange my ticket for a wristband on the Thursday and found the signs for the exchange were absolutely dire. In fact we only saw one and the only place you could see it was AFTER you’d been through [...]
Latitude Festival 2008
First off, against all the odds I survived. I’m here to tell the tale. I’ve been ill though, with festival germs so it’s taken a while for me to get around to this.
Rock Band: The Verdict

Gnarls Barkley’s ‘Crazy’ – now with Theremins!
This is absolutely outstanding! I am a lover of Theremins anyway (I have a Moog EtherWave – woo!), this is just awesome
I’m In Love
FINALLY got hold of a digital version of “I’m in Love” by Kingmaker. I have it on vinyl & tape, and after many years of searching it turns up on the iTunes store of all places! This song has been personal to me since I was a teenager. I love it. Miss you Loz.
