Ahh…. that was a pretty good festival :o) Tickets have been bought for next year’s already. It’s almost £150 for a weekend ticket these days, which is pretty outrageous. Then again, it’s so close to where I live I’d have to be an idiot (or an old fogey with no taste in music or fun) [...]

Went up to London for the Robots in Disguise, BIB, Piranha Deathray gig at Nambucca down Holloway Road.

For some insane reason I thought I’d see what it was like down in the pit at the PSI gig. As soon as I got there they started to play the songs I love…. so I stayed…. and got to the front… and eventually got kicked [...]

I had been looking forward to the Monster Magnet gig in London for months and months. I just got a call to say it’s cancelled and not being rescheduled. Looking on their messageboard it seems Dave Wyndorf OD’d on Monday. He didn’t die, but the tour has been cancelled for the foreseeable.

Reading Festival was a good laugh again. Didn’t see a huge amount of bands, but Lemon Jelly Satanic Bingo was the funniest thing I’ve seen in ages, even when no-one won for a very long time! Queens of the Stone Age [...]

Off to Reading Festival.
