I know, I know I’ve been a bad Hex. I just haven’t been inclined to write about anything lately and a certain game has been eating a lot of my free time.

I’m going to write a new post soon and then I’ll go back and retrospectively add some of the old posts I started writing, but hadn’t finished or formatted.

I’ve finally updated my website – yay! I still really need to clean up the blog as it’s cluttered and looks such a state. The new LaunchPad page is now done though.

A lot of my friends already have these pages and I’ve been meaning to make one for ages. I knew what I wanted, I just wasn’t sure where to start. It’s been years since I’ve looked at any type of code at all really. It turned out that playing around in Google’s Code Playground was all I needed to push me in the right direction There’s still a bit of tweaking to be done, but I’m pretty happy with it.

Aaaaaages ago I saw this site and thought it was really cool. Sadly the only console I had that was on-line was my Wii so no chance of anything fun like that for me

Well since finding myself very single, very alone and with no friends and nothing and no-one to do, I bought myself a 360 (I got the Premium in the end). His one drove me insane with trying to make his off-line account link to his on-line one (had to delete the off-line one and start from scratch in the end), but so far mine has been good. Bought some 2nd hand and cheap games. Trying to 100% Assassin’s Creed if I can, just because samey & boring though it is, it’s single player. Managed to lessen my Viva Piñata addiction a little too, that was getting scary.

360Voice is very cool, I’m enjoying seeing what my console has to say about me Only real issue I have with it is the site updates so slowly. I know it has to wait a while to update, but the rss feed updates so much quicker. You’d think they’d both be the same.

With my time off work this year I’ve really got back into my cooking and baking. I love cooking. Lots. My Mum has always baked cakes at least once a week ever since I can remember, so I must’ve got the baking gene from her. I probably also got the preserves/chutney/salsa gene from her too as she always makes her own jams and chutneys and my Cajun Salsa is pretty much legendary.

Anyway, I’ve decided to bung up the recipes for things I’m cooking on this blog. I won’t be copying these posts to all my other blogs though. I might cross-post them to LJ, but I’m not going to bother elsewhere.

I have been meaning to sort this site out for soooo long. No excuses now, I’m at home ill, I’m not working, so there’s nothing to stop me. So here it is!

Meeeeow! Finally, I’m leaving the house, and it’s not for work :o)

Only popping out for a drink or two, and only to boring old Reading as far as I can tell. But WYH it’s not sitting in on the internet for yet another night in a row!

Talking of internet, I’m sort of getting my website up together. For too long now it’s just been a place to hold pics and the messageboard’s just been for me & Chris to use while work fucks up our e-mails. It’s nothing exciting, but will at least be one place to keep all my crap. I’m trying to integrate LJ into it, I’ve used php include() for now, but it doesn’t show comments or anything. I have Xoops on my website so was wondering how well the MoveableType module works using LJ plug-ins to cross-post. Anyone know? If not I’ll give that a bash and just default to iFrames if it’s not spangly.

What’s the deal with people putting serious/personal stuff in as public and then stuff like “OMGWTFBBQ I lost a bit of paper!! Oh gnoes!!!!” in as friend’s only?
