Snow

I need to start by saying I LOVE SNOW! I really, really love it. I despise hot weather, even English summers are way too hot for me. I should really move to Norway or something as the temps there would suit me better (and the extra hours of darkness). Right now though my enjoyment of the weather is being pecked away at by the population whinging. It’s SNOW, we used to have this at least once a year remember? Get over it, ENJOY it! Rarley am I the voice of optimism, but really… we knew it was coming. You make plans. You enjoy how beautiful it makes everything look. You work from home (if you can). We haven’t had snow like this in over a decade. Doesn’t that scare you? When I was a child in the late 70s early 80s we had proper full on snow every winter. I have the photos to prove it. It makes me really sad that now we’re lucky (yes, lucky) to get a slight dusting in November/February. For the first time in years I could make a snowman AND still have a lawn covered in snow! To me, if you build a snowman and use all the snow in the garden to make it… it isn’t worth it. Snowmen have to be surrounded by snow to count.
