Dual Droooool

I managed to blag 2 17″ TFT screens on my desk today, got an extra graphics card (Sapphire ATi Radeon 7000) and now have much dual monitor goodness happening.

Downside is they’re giving me a fucking headache! Apparently this should clear after a couple of days getting used to them. I can’t complain though or they’ll get taken away!! :os

I have to test how useful they are and if they’re good… we may all get them permanently…. FM (Facilities Management) will go spare… we already have a ridiculously high power usage on our floor… now we want to add another drain.

I still can’t work out why the one hooked up to the on-board Intel Graphics is great, but the one hooked up to the ATi card is REALLY bright. I have both the monitor and the display settings to 0 brightness and it’s still bright if there is any white on the screen… weird?!

On other news. The plan is for me to have long blonde dreads this Summer. I am starting to make the dreads now cos I know this is going to be one long old job… should mean I don’t have to wash my hair during Reading Festival though! :oD
